Ceramic Rods and Special Profiles

We produce special profiles (prism, trapezoidal profiles, etc.) from all listed materials.

Lunit 20 ceramic rods

These rods made of heat-resistant porous mullite-corundum material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,600°C. Therefore, the rods are widely used in various high-temperature applications, including for the structural parts of thermal equipment, heating element carriers, firing equipment, etc. Made of Lunit 20 material - porous mullite-corundum material containing 80% Al2O3.

Operating temperature of up to 1,600°C                                    Flexural strength of min. 30 MPa                                                 Thermal shock resistance of min. 250 K

Luxal ceramic rods

These rods, made of heat-resistant sintered corundum material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,800°C. Made of Luxal - sintered corundum material containing 99.7% Al2O3.

Operating temperature up to 1,800°C                                        Flexural strength of min. 300 MPa                                               Thermal shock resistance of min. 150 K

Lunit 73 ceramic rods

These rods, made of sintered mullite material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,550°C. Made of Lunit 73 - sintered mullite material containing 60% Al2O3.

Operating temperature of up to 1,550°C                                 Flexural strength of min. 120 MPa                                                      Thermal shock resistance of min. 150 K
