Closed End Ceramic Tubes

Luxal closed end ceramic tubes

These tubes, made of heat-resistant sintered corundum material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,800°C. They are widely used for protective tubing in pyrometers to protect the thermocouple from the harmful effects of the external environment.

Operating temperature up to 1,800 °C                                                    Flexural strength of min. 300 MPa                                                        Thermal shock resistance of min. 150 K

Lunit 73 closed end ceramic tubes

These tubes, made of sintered mullite material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,550°C. They are widely used for protective tubing in pyrometers to protect the thermocouple from any harmful effects of the external environment. Made of Lunit 73 - sintered mullite material containing 60% Al2O3.

Operating temperature of up to 1,550°C                                              Flexural strength of min. 120 MPa                                                           Thermal shock resistance of min. 150 K

Lunit 20 closed end ceramic tubes

These tubes, made of heat-resistant porous mullite-corundum material, are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 1,600°C. They are widely used for protective tubing in pyrometers to protect the thermocouple from any harmful effects of the external environment and from thermal shocks. Other high-temperature applications include the structural parts of thermal equipment, heating element carriers, firing equipment, etc. Made of Lunit 20 - porous mullite-corundum material containing 80% Al2O3.

Operating temperature of up to 1,600°C                                        Flexural strength of min. 30 MPa                                                           Thermal shock resistance of min. 250 K
